　　Theamountofworkandtimethatwentintothisprojectisquiteremarkable.ThecameraswerebuiltspecificallyforthisprojectbyfilmmakerJohnDownerandhisteamatJohnDownerProductions.TherawstatsbehindtheproductionofSpyintheWildareenoughtomakeyoureyeswater.Thecrewcovered330,000milestravellingto31locationsin21countries,stretchingfromtheArctictotheAntarcticandallplacesinbetween.SpyintheWildtookthreeyearstoshoot,over800filmingdays.Thecrewcapturedmorethan8000hoursofmaterial,andeveryhour-longprogrammeisdistilledfrom1250hoursoffootage.
